Berkeley Marina – as a guest this time

Stormy used to live in slip B-10 at the Berkeley Marina, before we moved her to Sausalito. Now she’s back as a guest!

After a quick overnight stay at Vallejo Yacht Club, I brought Stormy to Berkeley.
That’s right—we’re just passing through this time 🙂

We spent a few nights as guests of the Berkeley Yacht Club and had a lot of fun at their taco night where we got to enjoy a relaxed bar,  very un-Mexican tacos, and some local music.

Still not quite ready to leave, we moved over to the marina’s guest slip at the end of M-dock, close to some friends. It was a good chance to get in a little guitar playing and wine drinking with friends, Ichiro and Betsy.

The weather is too perfect, though, for us to linger any longer. It’s time to get this trip started! We plan on heading over to Gashouse Cove by Fort Mason in San Francisco and leaving from there at first light—out the gate and hang a left, as they say.
